Miniature Horse Farms
I never even heard of such a thing until I moved here. I knew of horses and ponies. But apparently, there is one more kind of horse - Miniature Horses - absolutely adorable! I have two customers (right here in Gilmanton) who own farms that cater to these minis. Check them out...
Tiny Tails Miniature Horse Farm - Owned by Cheryl (364-5834): "Love horses but have limited space? Can't afford to feed a large horse? Feel intimidated by large horse? Come to visit us anytime to experience the joy of a mini!"
Granite State Miniatures - Owned by Melinda: "Minis are great, if you (or anyone
you know) loves horses but doesn't want (or can't commit to) all the
expense and maintenance of a large horse. I breed and sell minis between $600-$1000 for a healthy, pet or show, quality horse."
Belknap Lakes
This is a fun site that was just introduced to me. It
covers several little lakes in our region, including
