Lakeside Grooming is located at our home. There are a
couple things I'd like to make note of, for both your safety, your dog's
happiness, and our
sanity. Thank you!
For You...
Several Stairs and Controlling Your Dog?
In order to reach the dog shop there are several
stairs to walk down. If you have troubles walking, or controlling your
dog on a leash, please let me know. I'd be more than happy to meet you
at the top of the driveway to fetch your pooch for you. And at the end
of the day, I'll walk him back up and you won't have to worry about the
steps at all. This would be my pleasure (even in the wintry months).
Please just let me know...
For Me...
Leashes, Potty Area, and Gardens
1) Please leash your dog...
In order to restrain them from walking through our
gardens or running around the property. And to prevent them from peeing and pooping
everywhere. Urine kills plants, and we have invested a lot in our
yard. There is a clearly marked "potty" area. In the
woods by the dog shop, near the hydrant...
2) Please walk your dog well (let them out at your
house) the morning of your
appointment. (even in the rain and cold) It will help them empty out and get some exercise prior to
the day in the shop.
3) Try not to feed your dog breakfast the day of your
appointment. It will lead to their discomfort and sometimes a mess.
Each dog does get walked mid-afternoon for a potty break, but our
schedules are not always in sync.
4) Prior to walking into the shop, if you find your dog might need to
"empty" himself again, please walk him in the wooded area by the fire
hydrant. It will also allow him a moment to sniff and get
comfortable with the surroundings.
5) If your dog has an accident on the steps or
driveway, please notify me so I can pick it up to ensure the next
customers don't end up stepping in it.
Thank you very much. Your
understanding and cooperation is deeply appreciate.
